General information:

Giving a workshop at FOSS4G Europe 2020 is a great occasion to give a hands-on demonstration of your solution’s great functionalities and ingenious tips and tricks. Moreover, A FOSS4G Europe workshop is a great opportunity to meet with your software’s European users, to exchange ideas in a comfortable and open environment, a quality that adds up to why the open source for geospatial community is as great as it is! 

Guidelines for submitters:

The workshops’ section of FOSS4G Europe will take place on Monday 13th of July – full day and Friday 17th of July – until lunchtime, at the Vidzeme University. Each workshop has 4 hours allocated. The Vidzeme University kindly provides 4 rooms in which we can accomodate 12 workshops. When submitting a workshop, use the abstract to make the scope and the contents clear. 

The maximum number of participants is 20 per workshop. The workshop rooms are not equipped with PCs and participants are expected to use their own workstations to participate workshops.  

Workshop selection process:

The submitted workshops will be reviewed by the Programm Committee.
